President & CEO

Clinton Pownall is the President & CEO of Computer Business Consultants and has been in the IT field since 1990. His previous positions include VP of Technology for a large computer telephony firm and the Director of Technology for a developer of timeshare.
Clinton served in the US Navy for 6-years as a Weapons Systems Technician and has a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering. Through Computer Business, Clinton was one of the first to pioneer VoIP technology using satellite communications.
Mr. Pownall serves on several boards and committees and has a strong affiliation with education including the Bill & Melinda Gates Next Gen Foundation. He serves as a Board of Director for the Orlando Shakespeare Theater and the South Lake Chamber. He is a strong supporter of entrepreneurs in business, is a member various Public Policy Committees in and around central Florida, and is very active in politics and education. [more...]

As the Director of Technolgy & Services of Computer Business Akter Khan provides our team with over 15 years of IT and technical experience. He has an extensive knowledge designing, implementing, managing and supporting IT enterprise projects, and supporting a variety of software applications and business systems in a mixture of industries. Akter received his bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich, UK. After graduating, Akter worked for HP as a lead HP Product Engineer, quickly followed by movement into upper management. [more...]

Director of Operations

Director of Operations, Jeff Mathews, is an accomplished solutions-oriented professional with over 20-years’ experience in managing and supporting IT projects and initiatives. His experience in leadership, project management, organizational processes, and communications of retail, education, healthcare, and engineering provide a strong asset to our team. Jeff graduated from The University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial/Organization Psychology. Using his experience and education Jeff has been an integral component of large projects in data migration, software implementation, Windows provisioning, and international office strategies.
